I am a Gooreng Gooreng/Yidinji woman living in Bundaberg, Queensland. My passion is for Aboriginal peoples to voice their own point of view through the genre of writing - performance writing brings my thoughts and emotions into the public arena of the stage and ultimately leaving an impact on the audience which in some way will evoke their thought processes and embrace empathy for the ongoing struggle of this country's First Nations Peoples. Even the wins are shrouded in doubt.
