Originally from New Zealand, Liza Dezfouli is a Melbourne-based playwright, arts journalist, theatre reviewer and short story writer. Her plays, both full-length and short pieces, have been performed at the Arts Centre, Theatreworks, Gasworks, Cromwell Road Theatre, Kaleide Theatre, and the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne, as well as at Sydney’s Newtown Theatre and the Edge Theatre. Her short stories have been published in Australia and in the UK.
