In the style of medieval morality plays the various characters in Fat Chick are 'called up' in order to present their views on how Struggling should deal with her problem: Hubby has taken to booby-trapping the fridge in order to keep her out of it, Popular Culture is trying to sell Struggling her new lifestyle concept while Romantic Fantasy appears to offer escape - but Struggling has to admit that he's really only a substitute for chocolate. Everyone is stuck in their role, and Struggling comes to realise that she needs to look carefully at her life instead of trying to change her body.
