COCKATOO HALL

$5.40$15.00

A musical farce set in a NSW farming community where two local lads pull down the old Community Hall so that a new one can be built with the insurance. They find a large quantity of marijuana hidden in the roof, which they assume belongs to the local (long-established) hippies, but actually belongs to the local real estate agent. Misunderstandings multiply as `alternative' and `traditional' ideas vie over the design of the new hall and the insurance turns out to have lapsed so other means are needed to find the money to rebuild. With doubling cast can be 3M 3F.
