Post plague Australia, five years from now. Indigenous Australians languish in ‘health centres’, locked away for their own good. People queue for food and go hungry, as foreign ownership of farms and trade agreements see food shipped overseas. Thousands of climate change refugees wash up on Australia’s shores, then disappear. The Government plans to design a ‘New Australia’, where social engineering will select the privileged few; eugenics and involuntary euthanasia will take care of the rest.
