“I’m a tenant of tight spaces, thinking in metaphor, living in dreams.”

A young female hitchhiker stands on the side of the road. As she waits, she recalls moments from the last fifteen years of her life. Most vivid of all are her recollections of her first year in High School and of the people and places that both broke and shaped her.

Dreams In Crowded Rooms explores the elasticity of self-esteem and the struggle of a young woman to find a place to belong.
