The year is 2001. Prolonged drought on mainland Australia, but not Tasmania leads to attempts by Mainland Australia to take Tasmania's water leads to growing hostility and finally a declaration of independence by the Tasmanian Premier. The play is a part serious, part tongue-in-cheek look at what is becoming an all too familiar theme of the 1990's on the far side of the world. Cast can be larger than 11.
