SHADOWLAND

$5.40$15.00

Three middle aged sisters are locked into their present by their past. The influence of their mother - obsessed by film fantasies of the 40s - continues to haunt them. After years of emotional blackmail, mother's final legacy to Hedy and Rita is the care, in perpetuity, of the youngest and emotionally retarded sister, Lana. But with the arrival of an outsider, reality threatens this fantasy world. In its theme, and well leavened with comedy - this family reflects the modern world where implicit violence (exemplified by mother) can unleash explicit violence (Lana) and we see the emotional minefield of living in another's shadow.
