STRANDS is a story of two sisters. It is about inheritance. Both biological and material.
Hope and Destiny are challenged by inherited circumstance, and live in a world that supports neither of them. The one person who did support them has died.

It is about “never feeling loved enough and being trapped in a cycle of disfunction with nothing more to look forward to than a council flat and a cat who hates being cuddled’. But for Hope and Destiny it is also about the fear of losing that familiar comfort and of feeling ill equipped to sustain it in the absence of their long term carer. Is love enough?
