Sydney Town, 1837. Newly released convict Jack Stanfield must decide if he wants to stay or go. He'd be a fine migrant; many Australians want him to stay. But his parents, desperate for respectability, want him to leave. He struggles with God, his father, himself. Seven years on, Jack must decide once more. Will he reject Australia again? The story of one of the Tolpuddle Martyrs.
