Welcome To Broome follows the break down of an inter-racial relationship in Broome, WA. Chrissy and Rob have a small child and are finding it increasingly difficult to find common ground. Into this conflict arrives Ferris, Rob's muso, drinking, highly sex-charged mate from Sydney and Carl, a Swiss-German visitor with AIDS, who has come to Broome to die with his best friend, Sarah, who is away at her father's funeral in Brisbane.
