He sets out to persuade Will to write parts for him. Will is reluctant, until the stranger discovers that the writer has been stealing plays from his peers. Under threat of exposure, Will enters into a pact with the stranger. But is he dealing with a man or a poltergeist? And what does he risk if he guesses wrongly?
