Description

Fresh out of school, fresh out of home and in their first-ever share house, Hester and Bronwyn desperately try to make the tiny share house a home.

When several unforeseeable circumstances arise, they try to find a way to navigate these and constantly compromise to avoid confrontation and keep their ‘home’ together.

The Roof is Caving In is a collision of Australian Gothic, Picasso and the urge to say ‘sorry’ when you run into a chair.

A cautionary tale for losing yourself while trying to appease someone else, about growing up, and the housing market’s inevitable crash; think landlords, handymen, shared fridges, house-warmings, malfunctioning power systems and things falling down around you.
